At about 6 kilometers north from the downtown Cebu is an elegant subdivision-Beverly Hills, to where the TAOIST Temple is situated. This temple becomes the center for worship of TAOISM- a religion founded by the famous Chinese Philosopher LAO TZE.
Historically the temple was built in 1972 and is dedicated to the Chinese community in Cebu. Before reaching the place 99 steps upstairs is yet to be experienced but an overview of the City and a relaxing and serene momentum will help you come out your tiring mood once you are at the place. Taoist Temple has become one of the tourism figures in Cebu since when it was open for public viewing.
