Rediscovering Marine Paradise of the North

Another moment of experience in Cebu’s best diving center Malapascua- an island which is considered as the northern marine paradise with a huge corral garden and as blue as the sky sea water that surrounded the island. Almost everything that you are looking for when it comes to marine fashion adventures is actually present and available in the Island. That is perhaps the reason why Malapascua is a favorite marine activity site of tourist goers both local and foreign.

In a matter of 30 minutes boat travel around the island you can see the amazing sea cliff views and mountains-sides which add pleasure to island hopping.

One of the Island’s pride is its Corral Garden that almost sustains the fisherman’s life. If you happen to look down on the water the crystal clear appearance and its blue color which is blue as the sky will invite your attention to dive.

BANTAYAN ISLAND: A living Paradise

An island situated at the northern tip part of Cebu which is reachable by almost 1 and 30 minutes travel by ferry from Haganay, San Remegio. This is a very common place to beach goers and to those who love adventures because of the islands’ pride white beaches, caves and other natural attractions. The Crystal-clear water and a long stretch of powdery white sand plus the most common and deliciously-fresh sea foods products make the island famous not just for local tourists but also to foreigners who love to see the beauty of nature. Bantayan Island is now considered as the shinning tropical of Asia because of its panoramic appearance and an incredible charisma to tourists that make them decide of coming back in the island again and again.

Another reason why Bantayan Island has been famous for so long is their active and solemn celebration of holy week every year. The people in Bantayan Island are mostly Christians, aside from the fact that it has the oldest church in the Visayas and Mindanao, it is also named as the Lenten capital of the Visayas. Many people from Cebu and from other places love to spent holy week in the island not only for beach fun and relaxation but also to witness the holy week procession and to observe the most solemn practice of faith. Because of this, almost all resorts in the island double their rates at this time of year.

It’s my pride to taste the culture and witness the trending walks of life in this island which composed of three municipalities ( Sta. Fe, Bantayan, Madridejos) during my stay for more than 2 years as part of my supervisory job. Thanks to CARD-MRI.

SEMANA SANTA

Semana Santa, Holy week is a Christian celebration in commemoration with the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is a solemn time for Christians to commemorate and contemplate how Jesus Christ offered his life to redeem the humanity from sinfulness. In the Philippine context the grand procession during Good Friday happened to be the main event of holy week celebration. Different appearances of Saints and other figures of procession are venerated by the people.

The most perfect cone...

Mayon Vulcano. This is one of the Philippine pride, a godly made attraction having the most perfect cone Mayon Vulcano in Albay. A best tourist attraction to many but usually detrimental to some because of its being active in status.
